Working Areas and Hands-on Experience

Development professionals and practitioners having expertise and experience on different fields are involved in the organization. People of high-level social standing in local level with strong professional orientations in the fields of rural development, agriculture, gender equality, lagging class empowerment, and organizational development and management are supporting the organization. This organization has successfully accomplished more than dozen development related projects and around half dozen small scale research activities since its inception. The major funding/donor organizations of SoRDeC are GNI Nepal, European Union, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Fund Development Board (Fund Board), GTZNGO/FP, SSMP/helvetas, RWSSSP/DDC Parbat, LFP, NARDF, and ESAP. We are heartily appreciating the support of VDRC-Nepal for its kind cooperation in the beginning period of this organization. It has successfully completed the following development projects in Myagdi and Parbat districts of Nepal, with the financial support of several well-known institutions/development partners/donor agencies as mentioned below.  We gratefully acknowledge their valuable contribution and cooperation.
